we calculate our carbon footprint
2022 was the first year we did our carbon footprint calculation. We did a scope 1, 2 and 3 according to GHG protocol in co-operation with Climate Partner, covering all areas where we have impact on the greenhouse gas emissions as a company.
This means that in scope 3 we covered all areas which are related to our actions.
Some of the energy we use in the company, is generated from our own installed solar panels. This counts for about 25%. The remaining energy is purchased as green energy from the national grid.
We have taken several initiatives to reduce our carbon impact in 2024 and we are excited with our result. We have more initatives coming up in 2025.
This is a continuous journey of improving and reducing to constantly meet our own expectations, of being a more sustainable sock producer.
